Been visiting Pass-A-Grille Beach?
Pass-a-grille Beach: It’s the southernmost end of St. Pete Beach, and according to our “partner in crime”, Google – it’s Paradise!
And with the service you get around here, you will be loving your stay. Did you know that you can get free rides around Pass-A-Grille? Yes – between the restaurants, the shops and the beach. We love the idea of not thinking about parking! You can also call these rides, and they come with your ordered food for you at the beach! Isn’t that service enough – nothing is!
We had a memorable afternoon and night at this beach last December. Nearly empty for other visitors – and the sunset soon to come. For us Norwegians, it’s unspeakable to take a swim in the sea late in the afternoon – in the month of Christmas! In our country we normally have snow at this time of the year! Had we come to heaven on earth, or what?
But it’s more…: Driving towards the beach after a great day on segways with Doo’s Amazing Tours in St. Petersburg, we felt like we had been taken back in time when we passed a big pink building – it was just like straight out of a good old gangster movie. This building is now known for us as Loews Don CeSar Hotel, built in the year of 1928. Next time we will definitely pay this “big pink thing” a visit! Take a look at all the beautiful pictures of the hotel in the link! …AMAZING!!!
Don’t you just want to spend some time here in the hotels “backyard”, down at Pass-A-Grille Beach? When we now know that the hotel also has a great spa – we just can’t say NO to a visit next time we’re around.
The quiet beach giving us this warm sand under our feet – lovely birds to watch – and the sun going down in the sea while we were swimming:
We agree – it was Paradise..
